We invite applicants to attend Adriatica2020 on “Brain, Body and Adaptive Behaviour”, a joint initiative of the Department of Neuroscience, Imaging and Clinical Sciences at the University of Chieti-Pescara and the Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome.
Venue
Adriatica2020 will take place in the Pescara province, Italy, at a wonderful four-star hotel by the Adriatic Sea.
Topics
Adriatica2020 will address, in a multi-scale approach, the brain-body interactions that support human adaptive behavior. More specifically, some of the topics we will cover are the following:
Adriatica2020 is structured as a study retreat and the programme will give the students the opportunity to debate with world-leading experts from different fields: experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, neurophysiology, physics and neural modelling. Moreover, the students will work on a “mock” research project under the supervision of the same experts.

How to apply
We will accept a maximum number of 40 students. Applications (including curriculum vitae, motivation for attending Adriatica2020 and abstract) will be evaluated by the members of the scientific committee.
Accepted applicants are requested to pay a registration fee of 500 Euros that will cover the costs associated with accommodation for five nights (check-in Monday 8th June, check-out Saturday 13th June), coffee breaks, lunch for all days, dinner for three nights.
